Instructor in BIOLOGY
The School of Biology in the College of Sciences is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track general faculty member at the rank of Instructor. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching quantitative Ecology, Evolution and Introductory Biology. In addition to teaching 2-3 courses/semester and contributing to curriculum innovation, the incumbent must be committed to student success and will be responsible for the academic advisement of undergraduate biology majors. This is a 12-month appointment. A Ph.D. and teaching experience in biological sciences are required. Salary is commensurate with experience. Starting date is August 2008.

Academic Professional in School of Biology
The School of Biology is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Academic Professional.  The incumbent will be expected to assist with graduate recruiting and admission, and coordinate administrative duties for the graduate program; oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and/or hiring and orientation of new post docs and teaching assistants; meet with students, faculty and administrators when appropriate; schedule classes and organize office space for graduate students; gather and maintain data, write reports (assessments, program reviews, etc.); coordinate student on-campus programs and other various duties.  Opportunities to participate in teaching.  A PhD and teaching experience in biological sciences are required.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged.  Please send a CV, statement of teaching philosophy, and three letters of recommendation to Dr. Terry Snell at   or Academic Professional Search, School of Biology, Georgia Tech, 310 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA  30332-0230.
