What is my career outlook should I concentrate in bioinformatics?

Prognosis...Good, very good...The number of jobs advertised for bioinformatics in Science magazine from 1996 to 1997 increased by 96% to over 350 bioinformatics job advertisements. Masters students salaries range between $40,000 to $65,000 for persons with top masters training (Stephan and Black, 1998). In addition, Masters students reportedly have received hiring bonuses and relocation assistance. Of course you are ultimately responsible for landing a great job and without your effort nothing will be accomplished.
