Viniya Patidar: Undergraduate Student

Viniya is a 3rd year Biology major who's been working in the lab since summer 2007. She's been working on the marine cyanobacterium, Trichodesmium, exploring the effects of light on Trichodesmium growth and secretion of nitrogen compounds. Outside the lab, she's involved in other activities on campus, such as AMSA, India Club, GTEMS, Biology Advisory Committee and an Indian Dance team. In the future, Viniya hopes to go to medical school and become a physician
