Cystic Fibrosis Patient/Family Education:

We frequently give presentations to CF patients and their families, in hopes of educating them about their disease and keeping them informed about developments in research and treatments for CF. This takes the form of both formal presentations, usually at Emory, and informal discussions with small groups of patients and families at various locations around Georgia. The following list shows our most recent formalized discussions.

  1. "Gene Therapy for Cystic Fibrosis", CF Family Education Day, Egleston Cystic Fibrosis Center at Emory University, Nov. 9 and 16, 1996.
  2. "Genetic Basis of Cystic Fibrosis", Patient Education Day, Egleston Cystic Fibrosis Center at Emory University, Dec. 6, 1996.
  3. "Gene Therapy for Cystic Fibrosis", Patient Education Day, Egleston Cystic Fibrosis Center at Emory, June 27, 1997.
  4. "Advances in Gene Therapy for Cystic Fibrosis", Family Education Day, Egleston Cystic Fibrosis Center at Emory, November 15, 1997.
  5. "Gene Therapy and Novel Pharmacological Therapies for Cystic Fibrosis", Family Education Day, Egleston Cystic Fibrosis Center at Emory,November 14, 1998.
