Constance Rich: Connie is interested in how brains develop and how brain cells of fishes regenerate and renew in juveniles and adults. She plans to attend medical school. Connie is a GIT Undergraduate Research Scholar and won the School of Biology's John H. Ridley award for undergraduate research in 2008.

Alexander MacDougall: Alex is a Biology major who has focused his attention on the fascinating field of organismal development, particularly in the light of evolution. He joined the Streelman Lab in the summer of 2008. He examines the genes involved in dental and taste bud patterning during development of several cichlid species. Alex has aspirations to understand cancer and tumor development.
