How do I register for classes?

All students register for classes via the web on Georgia Tech's online student access system known as OSCAR or through Tech's automated Voice Response System. The OSCAR web system allows for students to register for classes, update their addresses, and view or order academic transcripts via the world wide web.

Student # 
To access OSCAR you must use your student access number (usually your Social Security #)

Pin #
A six digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) is required to access the system.  If you are a new student or have not attended Tech in 5 terms, your PIN number is your 6 digit birthday (MMDDYY)

Time Ticket Information
You can only register after a certain assigned date and time.  To locate this date and time phone the GT Voice Response System at 404-894-4949 or 404-894-4968

HOLDS
DON'T PANIC should you have a hold on your registration.  A hold may be placed for a number of reasons and usually can be removed easily.  See your advisor or Marc Pline for assistance.  Although it may not seem like it at the time your registration will work out.
