Faculty Positions

The Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the top ranked educational/research institutions in the country and ranked as one of the best places to work. As part of significant growth in the biological sciences, the School of Biology is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in experimental Molecular Cell Biology, with particular interest in the areas of epigenetics, macromolecular assemblies, cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, stem cell or developmental biology. We also invite applications for two tenure-track positions for experimentalists working with Microbial Systems (prokaryotic or eukaryotic), especially in the areas of molecular biology/synthetic biology/genetics or ecology/evolution/environmental microbiology. Candidates will be favored whose research integrates well with the department's existing strengths in molecular and cell biology, ecology and evolutionary biology, and computational biology (www.biology.gatech.edu). Georgia Tech is an interdisciplinary environment where faculty are strongly encouraged to interact with faculty from sciences, engineering and computing.
