Valencia Summer Abroad Program in Biology

The Valencia Summer Abroad Program in Biology, International Affairs, and Management is now taking applicants. We have a web site that describes the program and guides you to the application page at: http://web.mac.com/kirkbowman1/Valencia/Valencia.html

This is a unique interdisciplinary program. Dr. Terry Snell, of the School of Biology will lead the Biology Track, and Dr. Kirk Bowman will lead the International Affairs/Management Track. This program will take up to 24 students who will all take a course in the History, Culture, Soccer, and Politics of Spain. Then, students will select Mediterranean Ecology or Comparative Political Economy of Spain and Portugal for the second course. There are also 9-credit hour 8 and 10 week options and possibilities of studying intense Spanish.

Students from all majors are welcome. As this is a small program tailored to students in 3 large Georgia Tech majors, we expect is to fill up quite quickly. Please visit our website and contact terry.snell@biology.gatech.edu with any questions about the Biology Track and kirk.bowman@inta.gatech.edu for any other questions.
